Hello,

I have a wii on 5.3.2e.
I have put an sd card in my wii u which is 64gb formatted to Fat32.
I go to internet settings and have tried the following sites and all i get is a black screen with a few pixels.
www.exploit.wiiubrew.net/.
www.wiiubru.com/532/lgx.
When they say load exploit once then run it again should the wii u reset to allow this?
My wii u just freezes.
I have thought about self hosting but am confused about that.
I have read about Mongoose but dont understand how exactly to set it up and what files i need where.
Hoping someone could please assist.

Cheers

hi shane
first ,have you try loadiine before, not the loadiineGX ?

if you want to self hosting (its easy) , then i will make a tutorial for the "xampp" method.
thats what im using.

I would take some time and figure out how to host locally. Lots of guides on here for that. Online never works for me. I use xampp

Just tried it.
Status bar freezes.
This is completely normal. It just hasn't worked so you need to keep trying.
I don't think it is well documented that this exploit is not consistent at all. It can take 20 minutes sometimes to get it to successfully start.
From my experience after being where you were a week ago, try clearing the cache like was mentioned earlier. The freezing is good, so is "exploit failed" just keep trying the kernel exploit over and over until its successful. From there, you can load loadiine (that's if it doesn't freeze trying! very frustrating when this happens, as youll need to start over.) Remember, every freeze you'll need to manually restart your wiiu and try the kernel exploit again.
Best of luck, it eventually gets quicker but it is still is fairly random not very reliable at all.

I thought PS4/5 and Xbox One emulation would be kind of easy since they basically just a PC

    designed for only specific hardware

so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think

I think the only custom hardware is to do with the SSD and a security chip

They place married security chips onto boards iirc

  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful

Then the games are $70 and they want to reboot and refresh the same game every year

The ps3 was always Linux they just found a way to make it open source

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
