Gaming can modded 3ds play multiplayer via lan?

there is no need of adding the other player as a friend to play locally

but how do i connect with them since i don't add them first?..will it be like pairing a bluetooth device or something?

When you start local multiplayer, it searches for nearby 3ds's. The range is about 100 ft, not including interference from walls and other stuff.

just go to multiplayer and have to other player do the same thing, one of the players creates a "group" (or whatever its called in the game you want) and the other one joins, thats what works for most games

you dont need wifi, just enter multiplayer and thats it, its not LAN, you dont require an internet connection
