Ok, done abit of research and figured it won't work.

But what i'm really trying to establish is whether any wifi device will work with the nds?\

Will wifi PCI cards? regardless of brand.

Will wifi usb adapters work? regardless of brands

I think it varies by brand but most companies and their routers are supported. If in doubt, check Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection Page and look for the Tech Support/Supported Devices section.
