Hacking Can I update my Wii u without bricking

I am trying to open a game like Wii sports club but when I start it up it says that I need a system update to play.
Am i able to update it?
The firmware is 99.99.99
Uses the Homebrew launcher, WUP Installer GX2, And a app named DONT TOUCH ME
