My PS4 was successfully running gold hex when the motherboard got fried. I can't find anyone that could fix it. I'm wondering if I replaced the motherboard, would I still have the same firmware and run the same exploit?

I bought a switch and jailbroke that because I didn't think it was possible but I kept hope, so I saved the PS4. I started to take the PS4 apart when I had the bright idea just to post about my issue.

If you did manage to find a replacement motherboard with the same firmware, you would also need to ensure it was sold with its matching blueray drive logic board since those are also pared to the motherboard and would need to be replaced aswell.

Personally I would buy a used/new PS4 to replace it. you may end up spending alot of time and/or money trying to get it fixed, or break it even more. I've heard/seen alot of botched repair jobs. Unless you can fix it yourself to save money, imo it's not worth paying someone who might do a good/bad job.
