ROM Hack Can i Powersave without the actual hardware?

i was wondering if i can powersave without the actual adapter that you plug to your pc.

Power saves uses the dongle to read content from and apply content to the game, and if I remember correctly, also uses it as a sort of DRM, along with your license key and email, so likely no.

save files are encrypted and signed by the 3DS's hardware; you aren't going to hex edit anything successfully unless you have svdt/save manager/savedatafiler.

i already know how, i have decrypted/edited the save but i was only wondering if there was a less time consuming way.
