Hacking Can i install new system update

About 1 year ago i followed instructions on 3ds.hacks.guide i installed CFW My New 3DS is on 11.2.0-35E. Is it safe to install 11.8.0-41. What is the easiest way to update my system?. And after update can i still install cia files with FBI. Any instructions how to upgrade my 3DS to 11.8.0-41

If you have the latest Luma release then you can safely update.

You can update from either the prompt in the Home Menu or from System Settings. No fancy methods needed.

.cia installation will still work (why wouldn't it?).

Current backup version 9.1

Thanks for your help =]. I think i did everything right. Very slow update but nice.

I'm on 11.8.0-41E ;D Good times.

I tried 7 times to update the system and 8th time was lucky.
