Hacking Can I autoboot USB Loader using USB memory (no SD card)

I have a softmod wii with homebrew and usb loader gx on my wii dashboard.

I want to just boot straight to usb loader gx and skip the wii dashboard.

Is this possible to do using only USB memory (ie. without a SD card)?

I tried to do this using priiloader before but it didn't work. In priiloader I did 'install file' and installed usb loader gx, and then set autoboot to 'installed file'. When I booted up it just went to blackscreen. I thought maybe it requires SD card to work? I don't have an SD card anymore and want it all to run from the USB memory stick.

Put USBLoaderGX's boot.dol on your USB (usb:/apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol)
Go to priiloader and "install file" the forwarder.dol (not the loader's dol).

The forwarder dol is inside the "All in one package", in the wad/forwarder folder.

A late thank you, but you are the best. I have been looking for this in awhile, finally found it. Save me an SD card that I could be using with other stuff.

Does anyone know how to make any usb loader boot from wii?
