Can anyone one help me? This is what happens when I try to transfer app.db, tried reinstalling everything, using ftp through windows explorer, asking on wololo, and tweeting @MajorTomVita(didnt get a response).

Sure I can help. If you use Windows then you can use MS Paint to make the picture smaller

I would say: Low WiFi signal, or Firewall... Trust me, I already had issue with firewall even INSIDE a Intranet...
Check your Windows Defender or other software you use as anti-virus and firewall and be sure to open the ports for the FTP transfer.

Definitely check your windows firewall. Also are you using filezilla? If not try it, tho it looks like that's what you're using and make sure your FTP client is allowed in your firewall. And yeah low wifi signal can be a problem too. Try connecting your computer to your router via ethernet.
