Gaming Buying banned Elite Xbox!

Well yeah , one guy is selling banned one and since i can't play online until summer anyway i am really interested to buying it...
So i have few questions :

1) Is everything the same except the ability to play online? Can i still update the xbox 360 if some game will need updates??? ( i dont mean online update but update from disc)

2) Is there any way to fix it so that i can play online with it?

3) Could i place in hard disc from another xbox 360 to make it "unbanned" so that i can play on live?

4) If its version that can be jtagged can i JTAG it? It already have newest LT 1.61 flashed.

1) You lose the ability to install games to the hard drive and the ability to sign games for other 360s (both can be restored with a bit of effort though). See "uncrippling" a banned 360 (we have threads around here and a simple search should drag some guides up).

2) No.

3) No, definitely not.

4) If it was banned in the last banwave it will already be updated past the point where it can be JTAG hacked.
