Button Mapping app?

Does anyone know if there is an existing app which allows you to customise button mapping (ideally per-game, but even just something that allows button mapping in general would be great)?

If not, does anyone know of any plans to develop one?

IIRC HID-to-Vpad lets you remap buttons on the Gamepad: https://gbatemp.net/threads/hid-to-vpad.424127/.

HID-to-VPAD only works for USB-connected controllers though, right? It's no good for Bluetooth or Wireless controllers, AFAIK...?
