Hey guys, im trying to burn SSBM (Pal version) dvd9 into a Memorex dvd+r dl disc using a Mac and it didnt work well, the wii could boot it but after doing the save file it displayed a message saying "cant read disc" or sumthing similar. Anyone managed to do it right?

I normally use LiquidCD to burn my wii discs and this is the 1st time it didnt work well.
I also have Toast Titanium but i dont want to try again without talking 2 you guys.

I couldnt find any tutorial about burning this particular game for the mac by the way... so if there is one sorry i didnt see it.

Cheers

Have you tried just plain ol' Disk Utility?
Yup.

Go > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

Pretty straightforward after this.

Works fine.

I tried with Disk Utility, Liquid CD and one of the Mac 360 burning apps... My Wii failed to read them all.

I then opened my Wi, cleaned the laser and popped in the first disc I burnt (with Disk Utility) and it worked 100%!

So yes, Disk Utility all the way!! Just find file and click burn.

Hope this helps.

well cheers for all the replys ...
im pretty sure my Wii have one of thoose faulty drives ... i need to clean the laser ... but im scared to do so cause i havent found a decent tutorial yet.

or just use a windows emulator.
solves most Mac problems without having to deal with PC problems.
