Gaming Bug with Pokemon Platinum

I've been playing with PokeSav and I made a roaming pokemon from scratch. Ever since I caught it, I had weird problems like not being able to hear my pokemon's cries and sound effects that occur when you are hit by an attack. I deleted the pokemon I caught and tried replacing the rom with a new one but no dice. I'm thinking it might be the sav file but I dont want to delete it after having done so much in it.

I use pokesav to generate my pokemon, and it works perfectly for me.

Yeah that's what I did but the sounds are still buggy. I've been backtracking in all the edits I've done in PokeSav up to the point I get the sound working proplerly again.
