Hey there,
Would it, theoretically, be possible to set up a Proxy in a way that when the Switch turns on, it loads up a web page that can act as a replacement for the Switch's UI, able to launch software and other parts of the OS. This could make making a custom UI a lot easier.
In example, imagine using a desktop interface or even an Android interface.

I guess now looking back on it, it does sound a bit silly. Just a random thought that popped into my head.

No. A proxy does not have that type of permission. The only time the proxy comes into play is when connecting to the internet and even then has minimal effect. Plus someone would need to make an actual website. The switch only has a minimalist browser as well. The browser in no way has any type of permission to mess with the OS and a website being able to do that is even more impossible.
