i really nee d a bigger tv

my tv is one inch bigger than my comp and the wii browser make it actually smaller

This is expected, put your monitor at its lowest resolution (640x480) and you will find it to equal a wii's capability with component wires 480p.

With such a low resolution restraint, I believe the internet function is a gimmick at best.
I also considered it as a party enhancing tool, but with the inability to allow for multi player I think that one is squashed as well.

I would assume the only practical use for it is for someone who does not own a computer.

Love it this far. YouTue, here I come!

But the scrolling should be as good as in the Mii-Channel. It should react from the middle and not from the edges.

Horrible Browser.... can only have one window open, cant edit the url, if you wanna change to something else you must go to the main page EVERYTIME, favorites take a few seconds to load, the B Scroll is really BAD.

Oh, e-messenger, msn webmessenger, dont work since you need two windows open at the same time (or more)

How does the popup and things work? Can you save files onto your flash memory or card? How well does it perform on more intensive, heavy-loaded sites?

There's a nice elaborate video of the Wii Browser on their website: http://www.opera.com/products/devices/nintendo/wii/video

Looks pretty cool. Nice sound effects.

Now you can quickly check gamefaqs for guides without leaving your living room.

theres an awesome website to use on the wii: www.wiicade.com its got loads of games where u use the wiimote,

its pretty good

No, but clear your cash via Home menu --> Reset and it should work again. Worked for me.

One thing I just noticed: Zooming is dynamic and depends on what you point at when zooming.

got my wii today [well actually two of them but that story will follow in another thread] and have only tested wii sports so far. i just tried connecting to my router and it worked as soon as i had the case sensitive ssid right, so i am now posting with the beta browser too. very exhausting ... by the way i remember me playing an online gb-emulytor some years ago when we weren't allowed to installed software onto the comps at school. can't remember the domain or the implementation environment though.

edit: tried icq2go . it starts, you can type in messages, but the send button doesn´t work
