    the bullet would have taken time to get there, so i guess it was most probably stationary targets

    even so, at such a distance its hard anyway.

    Be proud that someone killed a person from one and a half miles away?

    This is why I hate this army thing. They cheer when they kill people, they cry when someone from England gets killed.

    A decent Rifle can fire a bullet at 1500 m/s so by using some simple math: Time taken= Distance/velocity = 2414/1500= 1.6 (2sf), so at the least the bullet took approximately 1.6 seconds to get there. Chances are the sniper's rifle fires a faster round

    2.475 km in real measurements.

    Been a while since I did any distance shooting (or anything beyond air rifle really) but that is an insane distance to be doing accuracy at (harassment is not that bad). Some serious maths must have gone into those shots however.

    They dont like killing people, it was just an very amazing shot. As perfect as it gets.

    Anyway, if you read the article fully you see that he didnt have enough luck, he broke his arms [​IMG]
