Hey guys, I recently bought a home brewed and aroma ready wii u from this group (not on the buy from list, my mistake). I have an old home brewed wii u already. I didn't want to go through the pain of learning the aroma system, so I decided to buy this on a whim. The system I bought on here never mentioned it being a Japanese model. When I received it, it was in Japanese and I just cut my losses and tried to use it as is.
I decided to happily do a fresh aroma update to my old wii u and learn all of the new stuff. Works great and I couldn't be happier with it after many many hours.
The problem I have is now I decided to work on the Japanese one I bought. I decided I would do a factory reset on it and just start fresh. Horrible decision, I know now!! Problem I have is when it boots up, the boot loader works and I can enter either wiiu or vwii. With the SD card inserted, it lets me use boot loader on start up. When I load wiiu menu it's nothing but nonstop bubble screen. Vwii opens just fine thru boot loader.
Did I brick this thing?
It still opens vwii. Can I recover the wiiu system from it?
All files on my SD card match everything from wiihacks site
