I ran the "Channel File Manager" through preloader and I installed RestoreMii, the installation completed, but now my Wii starts directly to the health and safety screen, after that I just get a black screen, I can not longer boot to preloader, so I have no idea what else can be done

anyone has any idea, can it still be fixed now that I can't enter preloader?
Dude, RestoreMii is not a game channel its a system menu.
Your Wii probably though it was a channel.

And are you sure you selected your right region?

Man Seriously you need to stop handing Out Dangerous Stupid wads that literally does nothing, Channel File Manager is a Wad Installer, Its not a fault of Channel Manager but your Restore Mii wad, you should have told him the truth of what you was having him to install, Like saying hey man its a system menu wad, it might remove Preloader, He may not have installed it after you telling him that,

I think that now that you installed RestoreMii, it is too late for you. The problem that you had with the funny graphics in the Homebrew Channel seems to be an extremely rare problem. I have never heard of this problem, except for once when my friend had it on his Wii. He had the exact symptoms that you described. It happened after trying to install cIOSCORP. It turned out that the cIOSCORP wads that I had were corrupt. I redownloaded them, but I still had no way of getting into WAD Manager. I thought that it was bricked, but the next morning the Homebrew Channel actually booted normally. That leaded me to believe that the Wii had overheated somehow, which I do not really understand. Anyway, I used WAD Manager to then install the good cIOSCORP wads. The Wii was fixed. Have you recently tried to install cIOSCORP?

so that means i hve that extremly rare problem to thank god im not bricked cant go to hombrewchannel from preloader though but if i get bricked like this guy did im screwed

so i guess theres no fix for this oes crediar hve an email or some way to contact him so i can fix this

I did all the installations the first days of april, the only things I have been installing after that are the cios36 updates for the usb loader.
And I don't remember if I installed cIOSCORP in the first days of april or before
the only things I wanted were firmware 4.0 to run wiiware in the sd card and the usb backup loader, so I installed everything requiered for, so if cIOSCORP is requiered for that, I surely installed it because everything worked for some time

similar problem here, but here is what i have: preloader 0.29 and fw 4.0(wanin's) and something else, cant remember atm. but my problem is that whenever i go into a backup launcher and hit 'B' to launch the game, i get that black screen. anyway i could get some help?
