Some other stuff and a dump file. Any clues on what is wrong or how I can fix it?

Ah you probably got boot9strap 1.1 then. A bit of bad timing that's all, no worries.

I get this error and another dump file

Do I need to install ARM9LoaderHax first???

No. a9lh is dead. Just to be clear, Did you update to b9s 1.2?
After that, did you update to Luma 3ds 8.0?
After that, did you update the boot.3dsx?

I never updated anything, I'm doing this install for the first time as stated in the first post. I've been using rxTools and now I'm trying to update to this CFW Ive been using https://3ds.guide/ from the start so everything was 'the latest'

You can't boot into sysnand?
