Hacking Bricked my Wii with ModMii?

So I have a Wii that I softmodded several years ago and I've decided that I want to be able to play game backups from a USB drive, so I figured I'd go ahead and update everything while I was at it.

I installed ModMii on my PC, selected the wizard, chose my options, formatted my SD, copied the files and followed the guide.
Updated the HBC, no problem. Updated BootMii, no problem. Installed the patched IOS236 thing and updated PriiLoader, no problem.

Now I'm guessing that this is where something went wrong... I installed all the wads via MMM as instructed in the guide, everything installed with no error messages, but when I tried to go to the system menu, it just showed a black screen with "4.1(USA)" in the bottom right corner.

I tried restarting the Wii, etc. etc. but it never went past the black screen when trying to load the system menu. BootMii and HBC load fine, and I'm doing a NAND restore, so I'm thankful for that anyway.

Any idea what went wrong? I followed the guide exactly as far as I know.

Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a priiloader hack. I believe to get into priiloader you need to hold restart while booting the console(could be wrong I never use it). once it boots into priiloader go through the options to turn off the boot in recovery mode hack.

Already restored the NAND, but I'll redo everything tomorrow and try it out. Thanks!

UPDATE: Yup, that was it. All is working now.
