Hacking [BRICK?] Using Safe mode would brick, or remove A9LH! Press any....

A friend says tried to update and this happens.

He tried.

Removed MicroSD card.

But system wont boot. Blue light will not power off.

Any ideas?

Does he have a backup from before the update? Obviously he still has A9LH so payloads should work. Restore a backup or try the 9.2 ctrnand transfer and then update from there with system settings while running Luma (download the latest release from the github and replace your arm9loaderhax.bin), not recovery mode.

But normal when you power on without microsd, blue light should light's up and than shut down right? But this case. Screen still black ( like was on ) and blue Light still there wont shut down!!

That's only if you don't have arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card, or it can't be read. If it's being read, but can't boot (or if it's bricked) it will stay on. Since you're not getting a complete blackscreen there is a small chance you still have working A9LH and the CFW just isn't loading.

He tried withtou microSD card, expected results should be lighs on and off not on!!

Really old versions of A9LH would hang if no SD card was present.

The safe mode warning is also only present in old versions of Luma3DS. You'll need to update the Luna3DS arm9loaderhax.bin file.
