I'm curious!

A bit of context... today I woke up with a strange urge to eat something sweet. So I went for coffee and made me a Peanut Butter + Jam sandwich.
Kidding you not, it's my first time trying it, but it didn't amused me...


I'm two hours from that, and I just remembered that I still had some leftovers from burgers, so right now, I'm double breakfasting with a salty and cheesy burger.

That's better! To which I'm questioning, if I'm the only one thinking that breakfast should be salty instead of sweet.

Thus! I'm making a poll to see if I'm the only one thinking like this.

Please let us know what are your preferences when it comes to breakfast?

Well neither is good, but If I have to pick between sweet and salty, then sweet, but then again I prefer non sweet/non salty.

Usually I'd just have toast with butter, but lately I've gotten a real thing for rice krispies squares bars

I am never hungry in the mornings, I hate breakfast as a concept.

That being said, there's a lot of fun breakfast foods, at least. Most of them sweet: french toast, granola and yogurt, oatmeal with fruit, muffins, etc. So, sweet it is.

I usually have cereal with fruit on top so sweet I guess, but I've never thought of a breakfast option as salty before

Breakfast over here traditionally consists of tea, coffee, porridge etc with eggs and bread.

But I absolutely hate tea, coffee, porridge, soup or any and all hot drinks for that matter. As for eggs I find them nauseating, so in short I never used to eat breakfast at home.

But in school from kindergarten through high school we had a 10am break and you can buy snacks so i used to eat bhajias, French fries and sausage at 10.

When I went to that hell known as university(my sadistic a$$hole of a father forced an LLB on me) I realized I can eat breakfast so long as it is actual food, so I ate chicken, fish, steak, pasta, lasagna ,noodles, French fries etc

And BACON!

So real food for me, preferably meat.

Don't really have a preference TBH, just depends on how I'm feeling/how much time I have. Sometimes I'll grab a blueberry bagel and cream cheese, other days I might want a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, sometimes I'll be lazy and just grab whatever leftovers from dinner the night before, or only have time to toss a frozen waffle in the toaster and go.

my girl prefer breakfast salty liquid protein and then we eat some mixed, by example sugar cereals with some salty protein (bacon, egg, etc.).

Slight correction... Full Scottish!!

The difference is the potato scones at the left edge and square sausage. Full English would consist of just link sausage and hash browns.... A fine substitute imo!

You won't get sqaure sausage or potato scone in England for love nor money. Up here we get best of both worlds tho! And we make the best black pudding!!
