Hacking bought r4, dont know its version and how to make it work

So, i just bought a r4. the box is from the old r4, but the card is golden, with some big black dots on the right makin a curve or something.

It´s written:

r4 i v 2.0
3d

Revolution for DS
(DSI LL/NDSi/NDSL/NDS)

so, the seller told me i can use it on my 3ds.

question is: can i?

if yes, how?



PS:the r4 came with a flashcard and it has a folder called games with some games(o rly) and some other folders,they are:

moonmemo, full of readmes
moonshl2
r4i menu


and then 2 files:

_DS_menu
r4

they are both DAT files

wat do?

anyway, i just tested it in my ds lite and nothing happened, so i think its not just because it dont supports the 3ds, but its some problem with the files inside it or something(this happened to my ttds when i bought it)

Sounds like one of the crap clones like what AlanJohn has said.

Since you've bought it, then no choice... Use it on a DS variant...

But for real you just got a clone that is NOT compatible with the 3DS, if you want it to work on your DS lite then just download the 'official' version of the firmware from the website on the cart.

Wood runs better right now than Akaio
R4iDSN is 7 Euros, Acekard 2i is 10 Euros.

You can find an R4iDSN everywhere.
