Hi,
as the title say i bought a Nintendo Switch (2017 ed.) from a seller on Amazon and when arrived i found out a Joy-Con suffer from drifting.
So, i have 3 choices:

- Ask a refound and buy another one (that would waste time and i could get a patched one);
- Contact the seller and ask for help;
- Try to fix the problem myself;

I already tried to contact the seller and now i'm waiting for a reply, idk if i'll get a partial refound or a substitute.
I would like an advice from you about what to do because i haven't experience with this console and i don't know if it's hard to fix the problem (from what i saw on youtube seem easy but i wouldn't risk any damage).

If you have other controllers, there's a chance you may be able to use those instead of the joycons (sys-con, missioncontrol)

I wouldn't bother personally, unless the seller lied about the state of the joycons I guess. The tablet itself is far more valuable, not too difficult to replace the sticks (or use an alternate controller), and the joycons would've started drifting sooner or later anyway.

I'd just cut your losses there tbh, and on a used console you probably wanted to replace the sticks anyway rather than gamble with how long pre-owned ones might last before going bad.

I'd just replace the joy stick myself. Those joy sticks are very cheap (about $1 on aliexpress) and fairly easy to replace. If you don't feel like doing the repair yourself you can try to get a partial refund or have the drifting joy con replaced. Usually it's fairly easy to work something out with those 3rd party sellers.

There are many guides provided via YouTube as well as some reputable places such as iFixit. Replacement parts are quite inexpensive as well as the repair is fairly straightforward. Either way, wait for a reply back before seeing your next actions.
