Hacking BootNTR New Version Research

Hey guys!

Both my version of NTR (https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR) and Nanquitas's NTR Selector have been updated to support the new version.

As new NFIRM or Home Menu versions come out, I plan to use this thread as the main point of news for updates on finding the offsets.

When you run NTR on an unsupported firmware, it'll create a lot of .dmp files in the root of your SD card.

Sorry, should've clarified in the OP:

Sorry, should've clarified in the OP:

So use a version of BootNTR that doesn't have native support for 11.1? And then create a dump for 11.2?

Could it be the axiwram.dmp? Here is the N3DS one from 11.1

That's one of them, there should also be a pid0.dmp, pid1.dmp, and pid2.dmp iirc.

its an easy fix m friend did in like 5 min so a fix should be out soon

Your friend probably did just the firmware.bin workaround, but it's better to have native support, which requires hex offset searching which, although easy, is somewhat tedious (and given all the hex math involved definitely takes longer than 5 minutes - trust me, Aurora and Tux worked on it last time and it took even them a day or two).

If you're using my fork, press L + R + X + UP for launching the dump mode.

The files will be called: Kernel.dmp, HomeMenu.dmp, FS.dmp, PM.dmp and SM.dmp.

Process9 is reportedly the only thing updated in NATIVE_FIRM, I think BootNTR only really needs a version string update so it recognizes the new native_firm version.
