Hacking booting from firm1_enc.bak

I wonder what would happen if someone tries to boot from "firm1_enc.bak" by renaming it to "boot.firm" with boot9strap installed. Has someone tested this before?

This sounds more like what people do with stupid ideas that wind up getting their consoles bricked. Go ahead and try it. Report back what happens. Just dont complain if something goes wrong.
