So... no? I bet other devs like the CakeFW dev and Corbrink etc. can get support as well without any issues. But then again I don't know much about them.

I might be imagining things but is this version faster on boot? Also the weird "3DS won't turn off without force" is gone for me now. Mostly happened after using FTPD.

I had the same issue. If you're getting that message after installing B9S 1.2 and you're booting up your console with Luma 7.1, get the Luma 8.0 boot.firm and put it on the root of your SD card. Fixed it for me at least.
I had done this before i got the issue. I don't know if is cause of it. It was the first thing i did before updating bootstrap. Thanks though. I fixed it. Maybe i just needed to clean my SD card, i dunno Lol :)

hey so whats the difference between the normal, dev, and ntr versions?
Normal is for you, Dev is for.... DEVS and NTR is for the ntr flasher that is soon to be released. It supposed to flash a NDS flash cart to help recover from brick or just to install boot9strap without any exploits i think.

Is safe, i just updated. It works. Just follow this. :)

You also get homebrew launcher 2.0 now. Is really nice looking too. :D

I get to this bit:

Code:
Section III - Updating Luma3DS
Insert your SD card into your computer
Delete the existing boot.firm from the root of your SD card
Copy boot.firm from the Luma3DS .7z to the root of your SD card
Reinsert your SD card into your device

Then it flashes on the blue light, then off. Fix? Boot.firm is on root :v

EDIT: Tried deleting config files, still nothing.

ok, I'll be more specific. what functions differently in the dev version? I'm messing around with my own .firm, so I'd like to know if It would benefit me.
I think you need to check the sourcecode for a better answer to be perfectly honest. Or maybe @TuxSH can answer you.

Did you have a boot.firm on your CTRNAND already? You may have to put the 7.1 luma version on your CTRNAND before doing this part.

I dunno, ask a dev, or read the source. I'm not really a dev or person who concern with non official consumer release unless instructed by the publisher. Sorry I'm not much informant for help on this matter. I prefer to keep safe. :ninja:

I guess it assumed you did because it said in the first initial post when converting from a9lh to boot9strap. :P

It assumes you followed the instructions already for that. Maybe ask him to include it?

That is kind of hard to do when information on planned b9s changes are only available to Luma devs and everyone else has to wait until it is released and then scramble to add support later.

That's the fault of everyone else... Not AW or Tuxsh...
