You can but it isn't recommend at all. Just install haxchi which will let you boot cfw (or any homebrew) with 2 clicks on a icon installed to the homemenu. https://gbatemp.net/threads/haxchi-v2-0-a-persistent-wiiu-hack.451071/

if you wanted to use cfw-coldboothax which is still kind of work in progress use make cfw-coldboot or you can wait patiently for salt team to make and release their cfw

You can also change haxchi config to just boot Fw.img without pushing anything when you start the app. So one click start haha

why would you update ?

Some people get suprised by updates, cant/ wont set up DNS, their DNS goes down for long enough to update, plus people still believe in "bypass updates"

My point here is that CBH is very user-unfriendly, very risky and very easy to mess up for someone who doesnt fully understand what they are doing.
