Depends on your iPod.
3GS+ = No.
<3G = Yes
At least that's how I understand it. A boot logo needs and untethered bootROM exploit which doesn't exist and probably never will exist for the 3GSes and higher (since we have a persistent limera1n now nobody will look for another)
