Should my boot.dat file be showing as a video cd file on my sd card? i downloaded from xs os website but shows a s a video cd on sd card not a( .dat file)
it depends what software you have that identify that .dat file to them. It's all fine.Should my boot.dat file be showing as a video cd file on my sd card? i downloaded from xs os website but shows a s a video cd on sd card not a( .dat file)

just asking cuz i can get the xs os software to load up but when i press custom firmware to load original firmware the screen just goes blackIt sounds like you have a application on your computer that has registered .dat files in its associations, and that file has something to do with video editing perhaps. Or maybe a video player.
what you see on your computer is irrelevant to what your switch sees.

Maybe you have it set up to load atmosphere?just asking cuz i can get the xs os software to load up but when i press custom firmware to load original firmware the screen just goes black
