My dad and I both hope it's not another Daniel Craig Bond film.

He's a good actor, but he's not James Bond.

I'm surprised to see this coming to fruition, considering the whole MGM collapse and what not.

Still, I'll probably see it ASAP, being a huge Bond fan. Quantum wasn't bad, it's just a natural progression of what modern spy flicks are. Less about gadgets, suaveness, and sexism, more about quick cutting hand-to-hand combat sequences with some conspiracy. Which isn't bad.

I look forward to it, in the meantime I'll watch Jonny English

I actually liked Daniel Craig as Bond, but that's only cause I thought the gadgets were getting worse and worse recently

Driving with the phone is still the best

the phone driving was one of the best, then they had to put stupid shit in like an invisible car

I prefer my James Bond films to less childish. The gadgets annoyed the hell out of me. Daniel Craig FTW
No one can replace Sean though.

It's more of a thing of a bygone era than "childish". Also, Sean Connery was all about the gadgets. Astin Martins with machine guns, suitcases with knives and teargas, he was the man.

I actually like Craig's Bond movies the best. It feels more like the cold-blooded killer where as the older Bond movies are good, but they have more comedy in it.. I dont know, they dont have the same kind of, how to say it, "realistic" feel to them.

Still, Casino Royale was awesome. Also, You Know My Name is great.
But yeah definitely waiting for this, even though QoS wasn't so good.

Interesting. It'll be nice to see the Bond series come back after the forced hiatus; I'm curious about where they'll go with the whole QUANTUM thing.

Daniel Craig is definitely very enjoyable in the films, I really really liked Casino Royale. What an excellent film!
I'm definitely looking forward to any new Bond film, they are just quality.

You and your dad are weird then. Aside from Brosnan (as good as Moore and Connery were ((especially Connery)), Craig is a great Bond.

Awesome, I thought they stopped making James Bond movies for good after QoS, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.

It was stopped, then they realised that lots of people will pay to see a Bond film and they can make many moneys

Not exactly; the studio that owned the rights kind of, you know, fell into bankruptcy. They were planning on immediately following up QoS, but it's kind of hard to make a movie without money.

You know, I am really curious in seeing how this affects the plot, actually. Seeing how they handle the time jump will be interesting.
