With the release of firmware 3.4, I guess I won't be updating anymore. I'm right now on firmware 3.2. However, I fear that future automatic updates from discs might update my Wii automatically. Is there a Wii homebrew that enables me to block every automatic firmware update? For some reason I think StarFall does, but I don't remember well and I think I'm just guessing. Any help would be appreciated. (And I can't use Trucha signer to remove the updates since I don't burn my own isos.)

I wish people would stop calling it 3.4, because it really isn't. Starfall can block updates, though.

IANAL, but I think I remember reading that an update without asking the user is illegal.

can games be played w/o updating tho?
I've been able to play MKWii on my 3.2U wii with star fall. I think it depends on the game though, some games MIGHT not work. But usually they will work.
