BlastWorks: Build, Trade, Destroy challenges shooter fans to a frenetic geometric battle, exclusively for Wii.
With a quick trigger finger, you’ll destroy enemies, catch their parts and use those parts to make your own ship bigger and stronger. During the course of more than 15 retro-graphic style missions, your ship will need to become massive to take on the bosses that await your arrival.
But BlastWorks isn’t just arcade shooting euphoria; it’s a vast playground for your imagination. You can unleash your creativity with the easy-to-use BlastWorks editor which lets you create your own ships, enemies, objects, bosses and levels. Within this editor, you can assign bullet pattern, sound effects, movement patterns and more, giving you a complete creation tool.
Once you’re done creating the ultimate level, ship or shape, share it with friends via WiiConnect24. You also can upload the levels to the BlastWorks Depot website.
With bright, abstract graphics and fast-paced, dynamic action, this sticky shooter based on Kento Cho’s Tumiki Fighters online game will suck you in for the long haul!

I'd agree with the 7.5 if you intend to extensively made new stages and share/trade them online. If you go into this just for the shooter a 5 is probably about right.
