Hardware Blank screen but touch screen and in dock fine

I'm hoping to get some help with this. My switch is running SX OS with auto rcm. I can get the machine to boot with a payload injection via PC but the screen lights but does not display anything. Once the system is running you can touch the screen and hear that it is working by the sounds but there is no display. If you put it in to it's dock it works fine.
I've been scouring online to find a answer but nothing seems to work.

Hmm it sounds like a hardware fault since it works docked. The back light and touch work, so I guess the LCD itself could be toast or the ribbon cable / connector to the LCD. If you look inside maybe you see something that doesn't look right.

I've looked at the ribbon connector and taken it out and refitted it but to no avail. I've just ordered a replacement screen and digitizer and will see what happens with them replaced. thanks for the response
