I'm getting a 404 on the files (or maybe because I'm not signed up for the site, but those captchas are hard to do). Any chance you could upload them here?
Nope, because main is copyrighted file and it means breaking gbatemp rules (as you can read in post).

Ok I've seen his files. What exactly does the "main" file do? Is that unpacked using the UE tools as well? Weirdly, his .pak file (the same one I have in the OP) his packed using v3 of the tool while the official one is packed using v7? How is that possible?

1. main is main executable file in Switch games

3. Because UE4 games are backwards compatible with paks. He is using u4pak which con is that it doesn't compress files.

1. What is the point in adding this file? It doesn't affect the ini files which is what changes the various settings to achieve 60fps, different processing values, etc...right?

1. It affects everything in game because technically "main" is a game itself. It's like .exe for Windows.
