Hardware Black Wii... Numchuk cable?

My WII setup...​

Alright, I know I'm new here, but I have been searching everywhere and haven't found an answer to this question. A friend of mine has suggested I ask here and hopefully someone can answer my question...

Question:
Does anyone know where I can find a black cable replacement for the Numchuk that is black?

I found a picture of an individual that has one, but I cannot find how or where it was acquired. This is the picture:

Anyone have any ideas?

Spray paint will crack and peal as the wire is flexed though...

Not the hardest thing in the world to "reverse-engineer" a lead though is it ?

Split the plugs, check the wiring, buy new lead, resolder wires etc Bob's yer Uncle.

No, it's supposedly an early development kit. Notice it says "REVOLUTION" on the bottom, codename of the Wii. I remember that pic from way before the Wii was released.

Before the "Wii" name was revealed, Wii tech demos were run on Gamecubes at E3. There were never any black Wiis shown publicly by Nintendo except in the early renderings of the Revolution they did which showed the Wii in all sorts of colorful colors

This photo was likely a leak by an overzealous developer

Oh, after looking at the label, I can see it says 'Revolution'. I stand corrected.

just pop it over the white cord, bust out the hair dryer, shrink it on, and BIZAAM!

In general heat-shrink tubing loses alot of flexibility after shrinking. You would probably end up with a semi-rigid nunchuk cord.

EDIT: Cable sleeving would be a better option.
