Gaming Black/White distribution rom dumped!!!!!

It seems that the European distribution cart that distributes the Liberty Ticket has been dumped already!
It's not on the GBATemp's release list right now, though.

I've tested it myself and it worked just fine!
Now that we got a distribution rom to work with, we probably will be able to edit it in a near future to distribute any Wondercard, just like we did with the Deoxys distribution!


After a bit of tinkering (Took a few seconds, really), I found out how to hack that rom to distribute any event.
It's really easy!
All you have to do is unpack the rom somewhere (Use dsbuff or something.)
Then you take an hex editor and edit data.bin (in the data folder)

Disregard the first four bytes — the English Wondercard takes from 0x04 up to 0xCF.
Then you open up the Wondercard you want to hack in, copy it entierely and replace the one in data.bin with it.
You repack it, and you're good to go.

If you want to edit the French, Italian, German and Spanish Wondercards, it's basically the same, but the offsets change.

French: 0x2D4 to 0x39F
Spanish: 0x5A4 to 0x66F
German: 0x874 to 0x93F
Italian: 0xB44 to 0xC0F


Do not ask for roms/links!

It only distributes Liberty Ticket, but if you edit it like I instructed in the first post, you can make it distribute anything you want.

It's extremely easy to understand if you know how to use an hex editor.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be allowed to put up a video, since I'd be uploading part of a copyrighted content.
The person who made the thread about hacking 4th gen distribution cart did something similar and got told to remove it because it was copyrighted content.

I'll leave that to people who actually know what they're doing.
All I can do is edit the Wondercard with an hex editor.
I didn't check further than that.

I use DSLazy to unpack and pack again, replacing the wondercard data is nothing more then a copy and paste with a hex editor.

Yes, but not for Gen 5 distributions.

Yes, but not for Gen 5 distributions.

No.

The Gen 4 distribution cards are too different.
Besides, both gens use a completely different type of gift, so they aren't compatible.

It works! I used FrHed, imported the Zuruggu (Scraggy) Japanese event and it worked!

I then tried it with the Lock Capsule and Mr. Lock didn't open it. Dammit.

You're supposed to get the Lock Capsule on HG/SS, then transfer it using the Relocator, I believe.

For whatever reason, I got the Lock Capsule on my SS, tried relocating it, and failed. It only said 4 thing were able for relocation (Celebi+ShinyDogs)

If anything, I'll gift over TM 95 and forget about Mr. Lock.
