Hacking Black screen usb loader gx

Some background info:

3.3u US console
38r19
222r4
usb loader GX r929c
NTFS 250gb HD

I had 38r17 and 222r5 but I read a few places r5 may cause problems so I switch back.

Currently the only game I found that works for me is fire emblem. Others don't work. I have tried lego batman and starwars and even tried downloading pal versions which also didn't work. My real discs work and backup discs as well.

I have tried changing options around but nothing fixes the black screen that desyncs my wiimote and forces me to hard reset. Since at least one game works I assume my HD isn't bad.

Edit: found one more tales of symphonia.

It's late and I will try to redo one or 2 of the games on the drive to see if it was ripped bad since I did a batch rip.

Any help would be great.

If anyone wondered, I tried using cfg usb loader and it works wonders. No where near as pretty but works. Now if I can only find a forwarder that actually works on my priiloader.
