i was doing step 9, i forgot to downgrade using rednand instead i was downgrading in my homebrew browser. right now my screen is completely black, is my 3ds bricked?

If you remove your sd card and it still black screens with a solid blue light then yes, if you have a NAND backup you can restore with a hardmod.

Just make sure to remove sd and check

Try booting with no SD inserted and cross your fingers.

i am at section 2 step 9.

Open PlaiSysUpdater on RedNAND
i was confused from there, i thought i can run plaisysupdater on homebrew browser
i did on downgrade on homebrew brower, it ran smooth and then there was a error message popped up to tell my turn off the console and reboot.

To be fair it does say in bold On RedNAND, try this
Black screen on SysNAND boot after downgrading
  1. Try booting with your SD card out, and then reinserting it after booting.
    1. Power off your 3DS by holding down the power button.
    2. Take out the SD card.
    3. Power on the 3DS.
    4. When the home menu appears, reinsert your SD card.
  2. If you have a hardmod and a NAND backup, flash the backup back to SysNAND.
  3. Try booting into recovery mode and updating your system.
This probably will not work for an Old 3DS downgraded to 2.1.0
This will BRICK a New 3DS downgraded to 2.1.0
    1. Power off your 3DS by holding down the power button.
    2. Hold L+R+A+Up.
    3. Power on the 3DS.
    4. If you enter safe mode, update your 3DS only if you have an entrypoint for the latest FW version and it is possible to downgrade from it and attempt the downgrade again.

tried it. it is bricked :(
If you're willing to go back to 11.0 just to save your 3DS, as it boots up hold these buttons:
L+R+Up on the DPad+A
It will update your system to the latest firmware, which is sadly 11.0. Which you cannot downgrade without a hardmod...I had to do this today

alright good news i guess. tried step 3 screen is back on. it tells me to update the system i just update it?
For now yes you are very lucky. You can either wait for an 11.0 downgrade or get a hard mod later down the line. Glad I could help.
