I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I can move my post to the appropriate area if needed.
Hey everyone. I've been messing around with Hex Editing recently, adding items to my save or modifying Class/Stats for characters to make them more competent in certain areas. I also have a couple enemy units added such as Nuibaba, Hestia and Marla. These units however, don't have any other magic tomes except for Medusa and Fortify, or in Hestia and Marla's case, Aura and Conjure (Witches)
I was curious if there is any way to add new tomes to characters skill list so that they can use more spells. I try modifying there classes so they were Mages, so they could learn the Generic Mage spells, but they did not learn Fire or Thunder at the appropriate levels.
My assumption is that the Black and White Magic Tomes would be viewable in a Hex Editor under the Learned Skills for each character, however I haven't found an easy way to actually decipher which skill is which. Has a list or any information been discovered for this?
If there isn't, I'd be more than willing to use this post as a place to view a list of Tomes alongside there Hex ID's.
