Hello guys, please take time to read this, because i'll tell you exactly what happened.

I have a black PSP Go, which was always working well (It's running CFW, I think not permanent cause I need to relaunch it if the PSP is turned off)
It happened about a month ago. I have the habit to always play a bit before sleeping.
One day, I was playing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3, and it worked very well.
My PSP was at 0 bars of battery power, so I turned it in sleep mode (like i always do, I pretty much never turn it off). I put it on the table, and I sleep.
The day after, when I woke up, I found out the PSP had turned on by itself this night. "Very Strange", I thought. It probably did turn on recently since it was at 0 bars. Ok, now I took it and pluged the A/C cable to charge it.
Alright, that night, it worked very well, and I played the same game. Then, I got out of the game, and my PSP was fully charged.
I thought "let's see what happens". I put it in sleep mode and put it on the table. Now I wait...
The green LED turns on, then I hear the Sony Computer Entertainment sound. The psp had turned on. I turn it off (not sleep mode), and I start sleeping.

The day after, the big problem occurs. When I boot up my PSP, there is the sony screen & sound ("tururururuuuuu") Then, when the PSP classic Theme starts making those background waves, boom! Black screen, Bluetooth and Ad-hoc LEDs blink, the PSP shuts down immediately. And this goes for every time I turn it on.

There are 3 alternative things that happens:
1) The PSP turns on and stays for a while (1/5 mins) and then turns off.
2)When the two LEDs (bluetooth/Ad-Hoc) blinks, I hear a loud POP sound, then it turns off.
3) After it had turned off, it tries to turn on by itself 1 or 2 times before it stays off.

Sorry if this was long guys, but I really need help. I love my PSP sooo much and I can't even make a saves/games backup! Please guys, help me. Thanks in advance.

your system is dead. you have two options, 1 replace the motherboard and start over, 2 get a new system and start over.

Are you 100% sure? Because this happened suddenly, as it was PER-FEC-TLY working before, and sometimes it stays on for a moment. If the system was dead, it would've been degrading slowly until it dies, and it won't turn on at all, doesn't it?

Your point 2 is what proves there is some trouble (hardware, software, or both... what you're describing is the watchdog powering off the console after a "crash")

But with the lack of recovery options for Gos and Streets, apart from reinstalling the firmware there's not too much you can try...

I don't care about the games, since I can redownload them. About my save files, if i can backup them quickly to my PC, well, cool. How can I reinstall the firmware? Will I be able to put CFW after that?

Just run the official 6.61 update, then a 6.61 CFW installer of your choice...

...I am not sure if 5 minutes will be enough, though... and you may end up worse off...

Could Factory Reset help me? If so, remember me how to do it please.

Settings > system > restore psp system

Probably won't change anything (unless the problem is registry corruption?) but it's free...

Well I'll give it a try after Backup-ing my saves an maybe 1 or 2 games. I'll give you some news when i'm done.

Ok, it's been almost 20 mins, and I noticed something.
When I put my On/off switch to HOLD, the PSP Never turns off. If I return it back to normal, it stays on for a little moment then it shuts down.
Okay, I did a backup of all my games and saves without problem, the psp did not turn off in 20 min.
I deleted a file on my psp games folder that i didn't remember putting by myself, just in case...
By doing a bit of research, i've seen the problem could occur from Plugins. Well with my PC when i browse the SEPLUGINS folder, I can see 4 files, but in Recovery menu on my PSP I only see one plugin: atpro.prx. I disabled it in case it was the problem.

For now it didn't shut down. Do you guys have an advice if it does?

Sooooo Everything was working well, I played GTA Vice City Stories for about an hour and a half, then the PSP suddenly turned off, again.
Does it still seem like a dead system issue?
