Homebrew beup help

Oh, that doesn't sound so good. Could these changes affect how third party IM apps connect to the servers?

Soup guys, this may be old, but apparently the whole Beup thing foe on the handshaking stage when MS switched servers. There is a fix that can be downloaded here: http://dl.qj.net/Beup-Live-v0.3-fixed-Nint...11754/catid/220

I haven't tried it yet, so let me know.

This is indeed a new version of Beup, but i've experienced quite a few issues with it. For one thing, the keyboard sensitivity is way outta whack. When I try to hit certain letters it hits other ones, and it took over half an hour for it to connect to the servers, in the end still saying that the "SSL connect failed".

I downloaded the new version (That says that's fixed) but I don't remember what version I have to pick up for my acekard 2 [chism, dragonM, No-Fat,Rein or Rein16 ?]

But I think that's an old fix. Been trying to get into Beup lately as I didn't want to carry my laptop around in the UK but couldn't connect cause of the SSL error. It happened before and IIRC the fix wasn't such a big deal, something like changing some servers address, I think... I hope someone fixes it soon cause Beup is one of the reasons why I carry my DS around.

Both thse site have a Msn,Aim,Yahoo,Gtalk,and more clients which you can sign in from your ds and easily use them like normal pc client so here i problem fixed and more deials PM me..

ever considered people might use beup so they dont HAVE to use the internet browser? as i HAD beup because i DONT HAVE the browser.

yeh- just tried on my g6 lite, and no go, ssl. wonder if it can be changed, i remember awhile ago that the server changed and someone updated, wonder why same thing couldn't be done. greatest app imo. great lil add-on to any ds

it probably could be changed. all it needs it to change servers thats it. can someone open it up and search for the server? if you can you'll need to change it...

i think the server is : d2ef3641
as i got this from beup. leave it to 'try' to connect, and eventually it will say :
Connection to d2ef3641
Cannot connect to the MSN dispatch server.

thats all the info i can give at the moment.

well, i use ircDS and connect to bitlbee. its like beup.
