Hacking Best way to backup NAND?

Hello, I have searched up NAND and I couldn't really find a concrete answer. I RCM'd for the first time right now so I want do all the initial important stuff. If there are more I need to do please advise. Thank you.

I am using hekate_ctcaer_2.3.bin to backup my NAND. There are 2 Full eMMC and 2 partitions and package1.
1) Should I backup just the RAW or should I backup all 5 of them? Or if there a better tool than this to backup NAND.

2) Should I use the AutoRCM from the hekate_ctcaer_2.3.bin or use the briccmii to install AutoRCM? Or if there is a better tool to install AutoRCM.

3) I want to use the GBA Emulator is there a good one that does not require the use of Linux?

1. Raw = everything. So do RAW NAND backup.
2. Neither. You can forget your Switch in RCM and drain the battery

If fuse is burned, your backup from time before the fuse is pretty much useless. So yea, do a new one (if you really need to).

Hekate bypasses the fuse check so if you've updated and don't have a backup for that version, you should be able to restore it, then boot with hekate and update

1. Just dump Rawnand and Boot1/Boot2 with Hekate. (I dump my Nand everytime right befor I decide to do something stupid)
2. I dont like AutoRCM. Rather get yourself an internal Dongle that triggers RCM at start.
3. Take a look at LAKKA.

Has anyone done this yet? I have 2 backups but one of them is clean from an earlier version. I'd like to restore it at some point to erase all error logs.

You can only restore if you use autorcm the whole time after making the backup on the lower firmware. If you booted into OFW even once after updating to latest firmware then you already burned your fuses and cannot restore using your backup. As mentioned its useless at that point and you should make a new backup
