Gaming Best SSBB Character?

My three best are Wolf, Bowser, and Ganondorf. People keep getting the misconception that Ganondorf is terrible. I enjoy proving people wrong with him.

The fact that almost everyone has picked different characters should prove once and for all that Nintendo kicked ass at creating a balanced game.

My personal favorites are Snake, Zero Suit Samus, and Shiek, but I really enjoy playing them all. If you want to know the truth, my main is RANDOM.

also Ike is freaking powerful but oh so slow, and Lucas's up+A is amazing

Yep Pit is definitely the bomb.

- Great air game
- Arrows amazing for spacing and just plain useful for setting things up and slowing others down
- Shield is just beautiful in how it spins u around as well as blocking most attacks
- Quick attacks that are both cool looking and damaging
- Medium weight which is just right. Doesn't just float away or die at low percentages yet is fast enough to take anybody on.

Snake and Wolf are my other favourites as well.
yeah, all of his special moves are great, I especially like the side+B

also the up+B is amazing.. I went in New Pork City with Pit, dropped all the way down, and did his 4!!! standard jumps and then up+B and I went off the screen on the top

I actually like Pit's voice, and his uber-awesome recovery (reverse Hyrule jump is EASY) makes him a good character. However, I prefer Marth and Ike for their attacks. Therefore, my character preference is:
Marth (main)
Ike (second)
Pit (third)

1. Kirby
2. Marth
3. Pit

There is no "best". You should decide for yourself what character to use based on your style of game play. But if you're looking for "top tier" material at the moment, I would probably suggest:

Pit (the arrows are just too good along with the recovery and good knockback)
Marth (he's so easy to play with, he still has his tipper as well)
Metaknight (good range, decent knockback, racks up damage very quickly, fast smash attacks)
Diddy Kong (extremly good dash attack - almost no lag at the end of it so you can combo into an up smash, bananas can annoy the heck out of the opponent)
DeDeDe (chain grabbing, awesome recovery as a heavy weight, brutal edge guarding)
Olimar (combos, very good on land, camp like crazy, but sucks off the stage)
Snake (he's just too good with hand to hand combat, avoid using him him in air all that much, good recovery)

Well, this is my opinion so far. The list, to me, ranges from top tier to high tier in no particular order. Have fun looking for a main.

Ike can be pretty damn good once you get the timing of his moves right.

Anyway, I use Toon Link, Rob, Lucas, and Ike...lol. My favorites are Lucas, because he's actually very strong..and I just love him, lol..and Ike. Power is amazing, but speed is lacking a bit. But still, two great characters nonetheless. I'll occasionally use Pit, but really, when I'm playing..I just do random. So much funner that way

I love its hammer and the copycat abbility.

I don't know about "Best", but my main right now is Kirby. His new dash is vastly improved, and his Bair and Fair are quite the damage rackers. Plus, his side smash has ridiculous range.


And of course, all his specials are actually useful again.

My ''Mains'' are Lucas, Ike, Luigi (come on give him some loving GBAtemp) and recently i've picked up Kirby and I LOVE HIM, Him and his airborne spinning hammer of death

i agree wit some that KIRBY does own all... but i think it also has to do with the player, if they know how to control the character

but for my personal favorites...
in order of coolness:

1. YOSHI
2. JIGGLYPUFF
3. PIKACHU

nothing super special about them, its just fun watching them KO characters bigger than them
