ROM Hack Best Pokemon game to hack?

I want to hack a Pokemon game, but I don't know which Pokemon game I should use. This is my first time actually hacking. Any suggestions?

I would suggest the gba games,because they have the most tool's and you can actually make something original in a hack.

D). None of the above. We have so many Pokemon hacks that get started but never finished...

But if you really want to, GBA games are your best bet.

If you want the best quality, Black/White is your best bet. It's really not all that hard once you learn. If you want something original, GBA games are the way to go. They are more easily hacked so they have more possibilities.

Yeah, I just want to edit some story. Nothing major. The map will be the same, Pokemon will be the same. The trainer locations/Pokemon will be different, though.
