Hardware Best mod chip?

i heard this new mod chip might be good, but of course since it's new it costs more also. What's everyone's verdict on which is the better version?

Which "new chip" are you talking about? Wasabi and WiiKey aren't that new... If i may suggest you a good one, it would be a D2PRO.

Also, remember that some wiis have different drives, so if you have never wii Wiikey don't fit in there.
Wasabi fits all drives (DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, (never one) D2C2, D2E)

I am getting a WiiKey with a WiiClip tonight. I don't know how good it is but if it plays games than thats all that matters.

Open source modchips are the way to go. YAOSM is my firmware of choice. Quick updates, DVD upgrades, the works. There is literally nothing commercial modchips do better.

Ehm... The new Wasabi with the Rev.2 hasn't got any problems with drives though ...
