Hey dudes,

I finally got a couple of my buddies to get a DS for themselves... so we are ready to do some local multiplayer. I haven't quite managed to find a list of single/multi-cart games, any list I find is just about Wifi Connect.

So... what do you guys play? We've a girl who isn't much for fighting games, but will try anything at least once... so there are really no holds here... Just speak your mind.

Thanks

i'll list some games with EXTREME replayability
mario kart
call of duty 4
metriod prime: hunters
jump: ultimate stars
bomberman
yugioh worldchampionships 2008
elite beat agents

Also, is there a particular gameFAQ or translation guide you guys use for Jump? I remember giving that one a shot long ago... and I'm pretty sure I hit a roadblock in the tutorial stage... cause I'm a tard.

You're welcome, FuManChuu. I don't know much in terms of multiplayer games (only played FFCC and elite beat...) so I thought of redirecting you.

...Dunno about the Mario 64 though.

EDIT: There's a translation around here somewhere. (For JUS)

Yeah... we play a ton of EBA now... but it is complete crap, cause she has smaller hands... so on the faster levels, she can just see more of the screen ahead of time.

Cheats i say.

Thanks distorted.... and whats the multiplayer in Mario 64? Is it all those little mini games?
I'm not sure but I think it's either that or running around collecting stars on little maps where they spawn all around. Or both.

SM64DS multiplayer is a race for getting the most stars, and you can try to hit other players so they drop a star.

i believe new super mario bros has multiplayer minigames.

Here are you first "must haves" for local multiplayer"

1. Mario Kart - A lot of fun racing every-man-for-himself or on teams.
2. FFCC:Ring of Fates - A blast!
3. Advance Wars:Dual Strike or Days of Ruin - Both are really fun strategy games that can go on forever with multiple players.

I would start out with these 3 because they all ROCK and are from different genres.

You can translate it using a patch, but not all the game will be translated, but most of it will be.If you have not used the patch yet.I can give you the link for it.

the JUS translation patch translates everything except the quiz(i heard) and some minor menu buttons(like sort, back and continue)
the few menu items not translated are easy to guess, or not needed.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan = decent
Elite beat agents & Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 = awsome

great for 2-4 players
