Best Ghostbusters Game (Until this point!)

Alright ladies and gents. I'm fucking stoked about the Ghostbuster video game next year (And the possibility of the 3rd movie!) so I figured I'd find out what everyone's favorite Ghostbusters games are. Yes, there is one on there that isn't technically a Ghostbusters game to the casual observer, but anyone who's played it can tell you that it certainly is in spirit. I do believe this covers all the Ghostbuster games released as well. If anyone can think of one I missed, just let me know!

I personally voted for Luigi's Mansion. That and New Ghostbusters 2 were about the only ones to get the "feel" mostly right. I also had the rare Ghostbuster 2 PC game which I played the crap out of, but the Statue of Liberty sequence was the most unresponsive piece of garbage I have ever played.

New Ghostbusters II on the NES. As much as I loved Ghostbusters on Atari 2600/C64, I prefer NGII. There is a review of that game here.

Should be noted that Ghostbusters NES was terrible and New Ghostbusters II GB isn't anywhere as good.

I couldn't imagine play Ghostbusters on a console. I would prefer to see a sequel in movie form first. Loved the Ghostbuster films, and hope there WILL be a sequel.

It was announced that there will be a 3rd film a month or so ago. This time its likely to go ahead.

Try the Master System version, which is a port of the C64 version that is better than the original C64 version.
