Hacking Best GBA Expansion?

So I've decided I want to play some GBA games using an expansion pack with my M3 REAL because I can't stand having those GBA cartridges sticking out.
I only care about playin ROMs and some RAM to run stuff more smoothly. I could honestly care less about rumble.
What do you guys suggest?

EZ Flash 3-in-1 is the best expansion pak. You can get it from DX for about 20 usd

since you already have an m3 real, the best would be the m3 real gba expansion of course

I have similar question, so won't start a new thread over it. What if you have M3DS Real and want support for GBA & Browser?
Does M3 expansion do both, or do you need seperate carts (ie. like their Rumble expansion that came with the cart)

Well, Overall, EZ-Flash is the best, but in terms of compatibility and efficiency with an M3 DS Real, the M3 pack is a bit better, since it's actually directly supported.

I have the GBA Expansion pack and I have used the browser with it, you just have to batch it first.

don't forget that the gba expansion has real time clock and a rechargeable battery (i had the old 3-in1 so i don't know if the newer models have a rechargeable battery now)

I have both the EZ Flash 3 in 1 and the m3 Real with GBA expansion.

The M3 Real has real time save.

The EZ Flash has non-volatile NOR ram. This is good if you are not a "rom flicker" ie you load one game and actually play it through all the way before starting another.

I use neither because they seriously rape my battery time. Instead I play GBA games on my PSP emulator.

To what extent do the expansions drain the battery, ie. roughly how many hours lost?
Say the expansion is always left in GBA slot, it still uses same power whether in use or not, correct?

If you have an M3, get the M3 pack.

If you have anything else, get the EZFlash.

most slot-2 solutions drain the battery at a fast rate, only difference why the gba expansion is known to drain battery is because it recharges its internal battery. once the internal battery is fully charged, it consumes as much power as most slot-2's

nope, it's too slow, not enough storage space, no room for savegames, and it wouldn't be recognised by the DS as GBA cartridge even if you'd load a gba rom in it.

What I did was that I left my DS charging overnight running a GBA game in sleep mode, that seemed to help with the battery life of the system with the slot-2 expansion in there.

Am i weird, but i am using 3in1 with m3 real - but it is cuz' i first owned a cycloDS evo, then got 3in1, and then m3real (cheapest pack, had rumblepack >.>)

The thing is after inspecting with help of 3in1, the M3 pack is only ram pack with sram - There is no NOR, what is useful in some cases. but with real, get gba expansion by m3, if you can't find one, get 3in1
