i would apreciate any suggestions for the best games to get for the ipod touch. any genre, any type. also is there a way to get japanese games?

For games that are nice and easy to pick up for a few minutes and then abandon, Canabalt and Cyberrunner get the job done.

Geometry Wars is also fun for me personally, though the latest update doesn't work on IOS3.

I just got the Myst port. Very good way to revisit a classic. Other than that, I really don't play games on my iPod Touch. The few exceptions being tower defense games, and Solomon's Keep.
